Our association (AIR MEMORIAL CREUSOIS) is aimed at creating and at managing a (non-flying) aviation museum, as a tribute to the civil and military pilots born in the French “department” of la Creuse (Limousin region, geographical center of France), since the beginning of aviation.
AIR MEMORIAL CREUSOIS was registered under the French Law on August 18th, 2007 at Bellegarde - en- Marche (zip code 23190 FRANCE).
On November 24th, 2007, a Board was appointed (5 female : Fernande, Edith, Hélène, Maryvonne, Monique and 10 male : Alain, Christophe, Dominique, Eric, Georges, Jean -Christophe, Jean- Claude, Jean-Pierre, Michel et Roland), supported by registered members from the four corners of France and one from Great-Britain.
Our crew includes 12 volunteers, among whose the descendants of two “creusois” pilots : François DENHAUT (1877-1952) and François MOREIGNE (1893-1995).
Our mission is consistent with the homage paid to Lionel de MARMIER (a famous Free French pilot [1897-1944] by his former companions, and by “Bellegardiers” and “Bellegardières”, with the support of the successive local authorities, since 1945.
To join us will cost you only 10 € a year and, if possible, a little of your spare time.
